These Extravagant Dog Mansions Will Make You Drool

Dog owners love giving their pup the best – the best food, the best care – what about the best dog house? The average dog owner spends around $1200 per year caring for their pet, and can spend anywhere from $100-$1000 on a dog house. But would you consider dropping tens of thousands of dollars making sure your pet had a comfortable, high-end home in your backyard? Check out these luxury dog houses that your pup can call home for a cool $20k or more:

The Georgetown: $22k

This two-story colonial-style dog house features columns, a balcony, and tall windows – to let in all that natural light! These dog houses can be custom built to include lighting, air conditioning, heat, and even running water – because staying hydrated is important, too! Builders even design Fido’s house to be a replica of your own. You can add finishing touches like wallpaper to make sure your dog is living it up in style.

The Victorian: $25k

Victorian houses are known for their decorative, asymmetrical look. Featuring steep roofs, porches, ornate towers, and exquisite details, your dog could have their very own Victorian style mansion! Custom, handmade curtains finish the interior of this luxurious abode. These dog houses are definitely fit for a queen.

If these styles don’t fit your dog’s fancy, there are tons of other styles that could match your home or your dog’s personality. Your pup could have their very own three-story Swiss Chalet complete with European-style shutters and balconies. If you have more of a southwest style, check out the Hacienda – complete with red roof tiles. You could go for a brick two-story, or a French Chateau!

You can top off the entire look with a luxury dog bed. You could get a faux-leather library sofa or a velvet-upholstered dog bed.

So, who would spent upwards of twenty thousand dollars to make sure their pet is living the life of luxury? Many of these examples were custom-built for celebrities and their furry friends. These celebrity pets get to live in their own mini-mansions, complete with high-end furnishings and custom finishings. If you don’t want to spend tens of thousands on your pup to give them a doggie dream-house, don’t sweat it! There are hundreds of cheaper pet houses on the market that can fit your family’s needs, and comfy dog beds that cost under $100. Your dog doesn’t need a Victorian-style replica of your house – they just need your love!
